Advent Reflection 2 by Sarah Hutton   

The second "Little Town, Big Story" Advent Reflection was about Mary's story and given by Sarah Hutton. Here is a summary.   

Mary is more than the girl we see on our Christmas cards.  She is associated with Mary's Well in Nazareth. She had deep resources to cope with all life threw at her and this seems to come from her ability to reflect/ruminate/savour the experiences she had. 'She treasured these things in her heart' (Lk 2:51) is the key verse. She was attentive to God in her everyday. She had to draw upon these deep reserves at unexpected times.
